Only purchased earlier this year, greatly enjoyed this summer but now selling as we are putting too many miles on it and need a more motorway orientated modern car. Very nippy when on boost but more economic than 1300 or 1600 cc versions when driven gently.

1980 GTC Scimitar............the car is complete and with fresh fuel a decent battery & some fiddling, this old girl will fire up quite nicely. We have a second car complete with a galvan chassis, priced seperately.
This scimitar gtc convertible number 244 out of 422 produced, was manufactured in 1980 and first registered to reliant motors in 1981. it was sold in 1983 to a gentleman in solihull west midlands who kept it for 9 years before selling it to a mr poirer in nantes france. It came back to the motor shed .....
I originally bought this as a donor car for my other Scimitar. I discovered that it was probably in better condition that the one I had begun having repaired, but I had invested too much to change course, so this one has remained unrestored. I haven't the money or expertise to restore it, so am offering .....

This is an exceptionally rare 1980 Reliant Scimitar GTC Automatic and we believe less than 75 are registered in the UK today. One of only 120 left on the road this example has been carefully dry stored for many years but due to ill health this project was never finished. Complete and only needs putting back together, some engine work and a light recommision.
