This is a genuine 1275 S that was exported in May 1967 to North America where it remained until recently when it returned to the UK and is now registered with the DVLA. According to the heritage certificate .....

This extraordinary example was purchased by Steve Burkinshaw in 2006. He was the Treasurer of the Cooper Register. He then carried out a painstaking complete nut and bolt restoration on this Cooper S to virtually ‘as new’ condition.

Selling my lovely 1980 Mini with Cooper S looks and 1275 engine. Some blistering on one wing and roof gutter and a small depression on boot lid. This car started off its life in Southern Ireland,where it spent it's first 49 years,mainly tucked away in a heated garage,sadly the gentleman owner died and it was subsequently the responsibility of the daughter to sell the car,they pulled it out of garage,the paintwork was dull scratched etc,she opted .....

Prior to coming to the UK this mini was treated to a bare shell restoration.

This Morris was sold new in Sweden in April 1965. The first owner drove it 50000km, and sold it in 1972 to a neighbour. The new owner, family friends of ours, only used it as a second car/ whifes car. This lady was born in 1929, and drove the car very little. He brother, a car mechanic sprayed the chassie, .....
