A BSA Bantam Sprinter with a 125cc engine based on a D14/4 crankcase and gearbox, which has been modified with racing flywheels. The standard bore cylinder barrel has been race ported. The engine is fitted with a Todd head and an AMAL Mk1 concentric carburettor.

I acquired this bike 16 years ago. Being a D10 Supreme, it was fitted with a three speed gearbox with second gear being broken. A free seized D13 engine was thrown in and so the bike's cylinder / head and piston was fitted to the D13 four speed gear box which makes the bike more long legged.

This is the popular later BSA Bantam D14/4 with the 4 speed engine. I have the modern V5c in my name,the bike is MOT and Tax exempt due to the 40 year rule. The Well Loved BSA "Beezer" Bantam 175cc Motorbike.
The Bantam was a two-stroke motorbike of 125cc, originally produced by the Birmingham Small Arms company in 1948 and continuing through until 1971 as a 175cc. In total a number in excess of 250,000 were produced.

This bike came to Sweden after ww2, in 1948. Some parts missing: rearwheel, gearbox and some engine parts like cylinder etc (can email more photos). Not matching numbers, but I can see in the documents that the bike had this engine when it was first registered in Sweden in 1948. I have some transport .....
