This is a very good example of the new shaped DB18 (as we would now refer to it today as the "face-lift" model). The earlier version of the 1947 / 48 DB18 had followed in the style from the the earlier, pre / post war DB17 in style and looks. It also utilised the same 2.5ltr straight 6 engine which .....
As can be seen this car is a good honest representation of a classic Daimler 2.5 v8. The it is believed that she has a reconditioned gearbox (which was all checked professional within the last three months when the linkage was replaced along with the front oil seal). All in all it is an absolute pleasure .....
